Chocolate Nut Bread

Ingredients:





  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated suga

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 7/8 cup milk 

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  • 3/4 cup Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels (I don't like chocolate morsels in bread, so I add 1/3 cup water, put in microwave to melt it)

  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts




 


Directions:



  • Preheat oven to 350 F

  • Grease one 9 x 5 inch loaf pans

  • Combine all ingredients (add small amount water if your dough is too sticky)

  • Spoon into prepared loaf pans

  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean

  • Cool in pans for 10 minutes; remove from pans; cool on wire racks
